Sealing of pre-fabricated, peelable membranes
into cardboard bodies
up to 150 cans/minute
Technology:
Pressure and heat are used to seal the pre-fabricated, deep-drawn membrane into the cardboard body.
This makes for an hermetically tight and extremely reliable seal with peelable membranes.
The pre-fabricated membrane and the cardboard body have to be made from sealable materials.
Modular system with turret principle.
More than 180° turret rotation is available for sealing.
The cardboard bodies are carefully transported.
The cardboard bodies are spaced by a driven dosing-star
with its own monitoring unit and an infeed-worm to match
the tool stations.
The pre-fabricated membranes are fed into the machine by transport-belt
or air conveyor.
The membranes are reliably transferred to the sealing stations by
mechanical guides.
The membranes are synchronously positioned to the cardboard bodies.
Each sealing tool is fitted with two (one inner and one outer)
controlled heating systems.
This reliably ensures the sealing temperatures remain constant
during the production process.
Quality check by video monitoring with pneumatic ejection
of faulty cans.(Option)
Central height adjustment by PLC for different can-heights.
The sealing-tools are fitted with a quick-change system.
Easy changeover to other can-sizes.
The working stations are easily accessible for service.
The machine is fitted with high-quality components,
thus ensuring low maintenance.
The switchbox is located on top of the machine,
saving space.
The flexible modular system can be adapted to different technological
operations and output requirements.
E.g., a module is added to apply a plastic cover to the sealed can end.
Monitoring of the cover is included.
The machine corresponds to all international safety regulations.
The machine features transparent covers with locked doors.
Height-adjustable covers at discharge according to the can height.
PLC – control with service advice.
In case non-circular bodies are processed, the cardboard bodies are
calibrated in the first module and sealing is carried out in the second module.
