Technology:

The basic material is a prefabricated, lined round or non-round lid.

1. A disk is cut out of the prefabricated lid.
   
2. The inner contour is drawn through.
   
3. Rolling-back the inner contour (Die-flanging).
   

• 3 working operations in a machine.
  
• Low space required.
  
• An easy retrofitting by change of the subassemblies (e.g., from round format to non-round format).
• It is possible to work 2 formats in a machine at the same time.
  
• Tandem-tooling can be used.
  
• The active parts of the tools are regrindable.
  
• Quick tool change by auxiliary facilities.
